Art, nature, energy and you meet in one image.

I photograph the planet to make people fall in love with it again. Through beauty and love the heart opens, and spiritual rebirth begins: the discovery of a divine essence within, of being part of all that exists. You are this beauty.

I fly small planes and helicopters over Earth’s natural places of power and create photo portals from above. These are the untouched landscapes of the planet, forms that were here long before us. Through a photo portal you can connect from a distance with the presence of nature and the energy of a specific place.
Many who spend time alone with a work notice their state begin to change: clarity comes, and calm, and a sense of returning to themselves. A photo portal becomes a meeting point between a person, nature and inner experience, a space where living contact with Earth arises and where you may meet your true self.

Stanislav Bartnikas creates photo portals of Earth's natural places of power. For thirteen years he has flown to them in small planes and helicopters, working above more than forty countries, from the glaciers of Iceland and the Namib Desert to Death Valley and Yellowstone.
The work has received more than 200 international awards, among them the People's Choice award at the National Geographic Travel Photo Contest, gold and silver in Tokyo, Paris, Moscow and New York, and the Pashadelic Grand Prix. The One Eye Land world ranking named Stanislav Russia's top landscape author.
He took part in Review Santa Fe, one of the most respected curated portfolio reviews, and has judged international competitions, including the New York Photo Awards.
His photo portals have been shown in London, New York, Chicago, Miami, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Sydney, Karlsruhe, Dubai, Okinawa and Moscow. With Obvious, an art collective that brings together art and artificial intelligence, Stanislav created a series drawn from his Iceland frames, followed by an art object that reimagines the Doomsday Clock. It was presented in Chicago in Human/Nature, a project Weinberg/Newton Gallery prepared with the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, the scientists who have set the hands of that clock since 1947.
The work has been published by National Geographic, where it was chosen as Photo of the Day more than once, National Geographic China, The Sunday Times Travel Magazine, GEO, The Telegraph, Daily Mail, The Atlantic, Colossal, My Modern Met, TASS and Italy's Progresso Fotografico.
Stanislav graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Lomonosov Moscow State University, worked in media, including at Komsomolskaya Pravda, and went on to spend many years as a senior marketing executive at large companies.

I can breathe, an inner warmth has appeared, I want to live.
Incredibly beautiful artwork. Seeing the rivers like veins of life.
It felt as if my spine began to warm up and the warmth spread inside. Grounded and filled.
My eldest son says: turn this song on for me, it will help me remember who I am and why I was created.
A feeling of freshness and lightness. You feel it with your body, with your eyes.
Rivers like thoughts, energy spilling into something bigger: desires, actions, events.
Expansion. The body has no boundaries.
It was wonderful, five minutes of silence and calm. How beautiful our planet is. Words can't convey it, you have to feel it, and that is what just happened.
…To me this isn't only a photo, it's a work of art. Its painterly quality, plus the graphic nature of the landscape, takes this beyond an ordinary aerial photoshoot. Yes, it's right place at the right time, but it's technically impressive in that it's absolutely sharp and crisp. I hope to see more of your photos!

“Within a few seconds I was deeply immersed in my body. Calm and joy came. And a message from this portal: you can lean on the world.”

Stanislav, something incredible has just happened to me (and is still happening). My first look at the photograph: a smile from ear to ear and such joyful jubilation inside: "Oh, I know this! This energy is familiar to me."
And then it hit me: as if an osteopath took me gently and firmly by the shoulders, put a knee against my thoracic spine and began to straighten my back, strongly and gently. My shoulders turned and dropped back, my neck began to lengthen, the crown of my head up, my chest opened, and I still can't slouch the way I usually do.
And yet there is no tension, inside there is absolute calm and jubilation. I don't yet understand what these energies are doing with my body, but I really like it! Thank you from my heart for sharing this miracle!

This is another long-held dream of ours: a photograph of the planet by Stanislav. It is our wedding gift to ourselves. It carries a very powerful meaning.
myfamilyschoolA wedding gift to themselves
Pure joy. I can really feel the energy of the work in the space. When I buy a house, I'll order a few more works in a large size.
Natali ApraksinaWith her photo portal at homeAll portals are fantastic, they are so alive. The portal I chose took me deep into sensations, as if I were flying and seeing the place with my own eyes. While watching, I felt my whole body. It raised feelings and emotions.
Thank you, Stanislav, for your gift to the world.
Every one of your works definitely changes the chemistry of the body. It is like a beacon, a tuning fork: you have forgotten a little, then suddenly, look, remember, and move on.

For me it's not really a piece of art, it's much more important. I feel the energy of Gaia that you convey through this photograph.

My biggest insight from this journey is that fear is inside me, and I can just let it out.
